"An old fashioned place"

Come visit us for a wonderful lunch experience!

Tuesday through Saturday

10:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

The St. Louis Tea Room had very special visitors.  Stefanie Ellis from the St. Louis Post Dispatch, St. Louis Today.com,  was in for lunch with one of her friends.  Ms. Ellis writes: "The peach crème fraîche (accompaniment for the scones) was light and airy, with just enough sweetness and a whisper of peach flavor; and the wine jelly was unique, with a slightly fruity edge. Both were made in-house and both were delicious."  Ms. Ellis adds: "Not only did one of the staff members read us a poem during our meal, but as she was whizzing by with yet another pile of dirty dishes, the woman in the smock sang out, "You've been lovely lunch companions. Thank you for joining us."  It was our pleasure."

The St. Louis Tea Room was recently recognized in an article by Laura Kruty in St. Louis Woman Magazine, May 2007.  Kruty writes, 'The St. Louis Tea Room, which opened about two months ago, moved from its location in Kimmswick, where it was for 10 years before the owners decided it needed a new location.  Seems that idea has paid off - "we've been very, very busy," says Judy Rusch, who co-owns it with her two daughters.'
